@ChloeIngram Of course (and sorry you've had such a crap time – hope you're okay). All the venues are working so hard to be safe/secure and it's madness that people can go into houses over Christmas but not a hospitality venue which has better processes/precautions in place.

@ChloeIngram My point here though is that I think making the argument in this way using questionable data and comparisons with supermarkets doesn't help the cause IMO. Stuff like this also gives me pause: @zeynep/1320700669943271424

@ChloeIngram I think we should focus on providing financial support to hospitality sector rather than trying to argue that it's safer than <insert other thing that's open> when that's really unclear, or indeed setting up (IMO) false equivalencies with schools/supermarkets.
