@SiAdcock Hah, it does. It's slightly unusual - there's a kind of umbrella organisation who claim to be the Birmingham tech "ecosystem" but it seems to be mostly enterprise networking and award ceremonies and not very well respected by the folks organising actual community things.On twitter.com

@SiAdcock There are some great meetups - @brumphp, @brumjs, @FusionMeetup and groups like @codebarBrum are doing great things. @SiAdcock slack.birmingham.io/ is a great local Slack for these questions and I know the universities have some awesome stuff happening, eg. @kathrice_, @TauOmicronMu are doing cool things (I know I've missed people here). @383project do bigger scale events too (eg. @canvasconf).Permalink On twitter.com
