  1. I learned recently that paleontologists stopped considering Brontosaurus a distinct species (it's basically the same as Apatosaurus) back in the 2000s, and I don't remember anyone getting as worked up about this significant news as they did when Pluto stopped being a planet.

      Although apparently the debate resurfaced in 2015 and now some scientists *do* consider it distinct. Hang in there, Pluto!
