    1. The idea that we should welcome the "freedom" of reverting to imperial units post-Brexit is the perfect summation of the regressive, closed-off, isolationist, anti-youth attitude the whole campaign was based on.

    And from a purely logistical/standardisation perspective, imagine getting four decades in to the transition and then deciding to start mixing in the legacy ones again. It's like letting random cars drive on the right for one day per week.
