    The editing of the scene after George quits is fantastic: chaotic music, lots of motion, and Yoko allowed to speak and even perform for the first time, because the inner sanctum has been dissolved and there's no structure. Really dramatic to see even knowing it's coming.

      Which is the real dichotomy of watching this now: we're observing this recording session 50 years later, with all the weight of what the Beatles came to be, sitting atop us. We know all the stories and all the songs already.
