One legacy of covid testing is that my 2.5 year old is now terrified of a "test", and when I took him today for his (nasal spray) flu vaccination he sat with his arms covering his nose, trembling with discomfort.

He's done half a dozen PCR tests for nursery - if he gets a cough/temperature, he can't go back till we show a negative test. Testing a toddler is absolutely the worst thing to do as a parent and the accuracy of these tests is probably negligible anyway due to his opposition.
