@HarryVale I've been reading this series of zombie books called Surviving The Evacuation, it's been running for a while now and there's 20 odd books. I treat them as palate-cleansers between bigger, more ~literary~ things, but they're easy reads and not as cliche–laden as the genre can be.Permalink On twitter.com

@HarryVale Most of the series tends to focus on the logistics of trying to rebuild society rather than Walking Dead-esque gore/shock fests, but there's still some neat setpieces too. Some of the dialogue is a bit silly (not how people would ever speak) but the characters are decent.On twitter.com
