@stephenkb Completely guilty of this and I really thought I'd avoid becoming that cliché. Tried to sum up my thoughts on my dad blog (see above) but in essence, it's as much to reassure yourself (and highlight the moments when your kid isn't being a massive pain) as for anyone else.
