@philwalton My criticism was about the wording: this is not a Web thing (yet?), this is—right now— a Chrome thing. Maybe it'll become a Web thing if other browser vendors do more than just show "support", right? What stops this just being like AMP, eg. Google's fork of an open standard?Permalink On twitter.com

@philwalton (I appreciate this feature is still in development and it certainly would offer a lot of new opportunities, I'm just wary of individual browser vendors implementing their own built-in custom modules for fairly obvious historical reasons!)On twitter.com
