@churlishmeg Really enjoyed this, there's something so powerful about those early memories/experiences. I remember a similar thing – Euro 1996 when I was in year 6 at school. All the other boys in class kept asking the teacher "Can we watch it at 2pm?" etc. (1/2)Permalink On twitter.com

@churlishmeg One girl eventually asked "What are we watching?" and almost the entire class turned to her and yelled "DUHHHHHHH" right in her confused face. Felt awful for her in a similar way to how you felt for your teacher.On twitter.com
