  1. Surprised myself by enjoying Doctor Who last night – despite @maddymcgarrie loving it, it's never really done it for me. Possibly down to the episode not being full of knowing / self-referential bits like Sherlock where the writers can't resist adding Twitter-friendly lines?

      Diversity of the cast made it much more interesting too – characters who feel like they exist beyond the fictional world of the show.
